Stroke & Turn Volunteer Training

The North Austin Aquatic League (NAAL) is hosting the Stroke & Turn Judge training for any/all parents that would like to volunteer as a judge this coming season! This training provides the rules to each technical stroke (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle), special turns, starts and finishes, as well as what qualifies for disqualification (DQ). This training is MANDATORY for anyone who wishes to volunteer as a Stroke & Turn volunteer at swim meets. The first training is tentatively scheduled for April 7th at 6pm @ Twin Creeks Country Club. If anyone is available to attend, please join us! Whether you've been Judging in the past, or just want to know more about the sport your kiddo loves, this training is extremely informative! |

Drop your swimmers at the pool to hang out and meet the coaches before joining Coach Lizzie for the Parents Meeting in the Linda & Keith Zimmerman Family Conference room located directly to the left of the Welcome check-in desk. This meeting will provide season overview (i.e. practice/event dates), information on meets (i.e. eligibility, qualifying for champs, etc.), parent volunteer requirements, and general Q&A. |
