Meet Guidelines

Arriving to a Meet

  • Arrive early - ideally 15-30 minutes prior to the announced warm up time.
    • Some HOA's require specific parking instructions that will be communicated before hand. Consider how long it will take to get to the pool, find parking, and walk to the team tents
  • Warm up times will be announced prior to each meet. As a general guideline, swimmers should be ready at 6:55am for home meets & 7:20am for away meets.
    • Swimmers are expected to be on time for warm-up and available for relay substitutions! They should be marked, capped and ready to jump in the water by those times - no time to waste!
  • Away meets start promptly at 9:00am, unless otherwise specified.

During the Meet

  • Swimmers are expected to stay in the team area, within their age-group tents. If a swimmer needs to leave their tent, swimmers are expected to tell their assigned age-group volunteer.
    • parents/guardians: please enforce this policy with your swimmers prior to the meet.
  • Age-group & Ready Bench volunteers are there to help, but it is ultimately the swimmer's responsibility to get tot he ready bench and onto the blocks on time.
  • Be sure to check in with a coach before leaving the meet - swimmers may be needed to sub in a relay!
  • Please be respectful of our hosting facilities!
    • Let's leave our spaces how we find them and use the provided trash cans for any waste.
