Summer League Piranhas
The Piranhas Swim Team is a recreational swim team located at the Shalom Austin Dell Jewish Community Center. The Piranhas Swim Team strives to provide a fun and family-like atmosphere as they expose kids, ages 5-18, to the great sport of swimming. They provide opportunities for kids to swim throughout the year in a positive environment, where they can make new friends and excel at their swimming skills. Our coaching philosophy is for our swimmers to have a great time while we provide them a good balance of stroke work, mechanics through progressions, conditioning, and enjoy the lifelong sport of swimming.
Requirements & Practice
Swimmer Requirements
All swimmers must be able to complete full length (25 yards) of freestyle (front crawl) with side breathing. Coaches will have the final determination of a swimmer’s readiness If you have any questions please contact Isobel Rolls, Head Coach, at [email protected].
Practice Schedule
6 & Unders: 4:00pm-4:45pm
7-8 Year Olds: 5:00pm-6:00pm
9-10 Year Olds: 6:15pm-7:15pm
11 & Over: 7:30pm-8:30pm
